More Pictures to Hold You Over...

We all know we are dying for the LBL 200 next year, unfortunately it's still 296 days away! :(
Because of that, I've decided to post more pictures from our good friend Bob Roseman to hold you over until then!  Be on the lookout for updates, because we are in the process of trying to incorporate some new and fun events into our ride!  You won't want to miss them!  Enjoy!

Buddy Run Update...

Due to heavy amounts of rainfall recently, as well as forecasts for more rain throughout the week and upcoming weekend, this year's Buddy Run has been cancelled.
Sorry for the late notice, or any inconvenience to anyone.

Stay tuned for any more available updates!

Looking for a Good Time?

You should come and join us on November 27, 2011 for the 41st annual Buddy Run in Cadiz, KY!  For those of you not familiar with this format, it is sort of like a hare scramble.  You are on a team with one other rider, and your team only rides one bike.  Each "lap," you and your partner will switch up turns on the bike.  The course is usually around six miles long, and the total event lasts around two hours.  This is not an AMA event, so there is no need for a membership! The cost is normally around $40 per team.  There are a few options for different classes that you can choose to ride in.

Look for an official flier to be posted to this blog soon (some of the above information may change with the new flier).  You can also e-mail ktriders@gmail.com if you want any more questions answered or need directions!  This is a fun time, and also a good excuse to tear up your buddy's bike! :)

In the mean time, check out some pictures that Bob Roseman took at this year's LBL 200!

A Big Thanks...

First off, welcome to the official blog of the LBL 200.  The 25th anniversary of this dual sport ride was recently held on September 10th and 11th.  To those of you who made it out and helped us celebrate, thank you.  We hope you had a good time.  If weren’t able to join us, come next year!

In case you haven't already seen the article written for the AMA by Kurt Bauer on the LBL 200, you can check that out here.  It gives some good history and interesting facts on the ride.  Also, here's a cool video shot by Ron Benner with his helmet cam:

Clicking on the video should enlarge it.

Again, thank you for all of your support.  Thanks to those who rode it for the first time, to those who have ridden it every year, and to everyone in between.  Without you, we couldn’t have made it to 25 years.  We look forward to many more!

Be sure to check back for more interesting dual sport topics and information on next year’s LBL 200.  And as always, you can view our website, www.lbl200.com.  Click here to access it.
